No Binding Advice / No Cover Bound Online: Any commentary, guidance, calculators, indicative premiums, or other information on the Site is non-binding and may be withdrawn or amended at any time. No insurance cover is bound, varied, or confirmed unless and until we have expressly agreed this in writing (including by email) and, where applicable, the insurer has accepted the risk and issued cover documentation. All cover is subject to the insurer’s terms, conditions, exclusions, warranties, and premium payment requirements. FCA Authorisation: C.J. Cover may be arranged with UK and/or overseas insurers, including those in the Lloyd’s market, subject to availability and acceptance. Scope of Services: Our regulatory permissions and the services available to you depend on the nature of the transaction and your location. If any service is not available to you due to regulatory restrictions, we will let you know.
Holding Client Money: We may handle client money in relation to insurance transactions. Non-Statutory Trust Accounts: Where we hold client money, it is held in one or more client bank accounts as agent of the insurer(s) and/or under a non-statutory trust in accordance with the FCA’s Client Assets Sourcebook (“CASS”) rules. This means client money is segregated from our own funds. Interest: Unless we agree otherwise in writing, any interest earned on client money held by us will be retained by us. Risk of Bank Failure: Client money is held with an approved bank. In the unlikely event of a bank failure, there may be a shortfall. Client money may be protected by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (“FSCS”) depending on the circumstances.
